Spider Math Fun: Building & Counting!

Today’s math lesson was a hands-on hit with Spider Math Play-Doh Building!
Our learners moulded play-dough spider legs and practised counting by carefully adding the correct number of legs. This fun activity was brilliant for developing multiple skills at once:
  • Sensory Skills: Working with the dough provided great sensory input.
  • Fine Motor Skills: Inserting the small ‘legs’ sharpened their fine motor control, essential for future writing.
  • Math Skills: They reinforced number recognition and one-to-one correspondence (matching one leg per count).
A wonderfully productive and engaging way to learn numeracy and dexterity!
