On the morning of National Father’s Day 2025, Assumption College English Program (ACEP) was filled with an atmosphere of respect, love, and deep gratitude as students, teachers, and administrators gathered to honor the immeasurable grace of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej the Great (Rama IX), the revered “Father of the Nation,” who remains eternally cherished by the Thai people.
The school community came together to participate in a series of meaningful activities, including a floral tribute ceremony, as a heartfelt expression of loyalty and remembrance of His Majesty’s lifelong dedication and tireless devotion to the nation and its people.
The event also featured performances by student representatives in honor of His Majesty, including a traditional chant “Oaeo Wihan Rai” in Kap Chabang 16 poetic style, as well as the graceful performance titled “Anchali Ong Phumiphon”, symbolizing reverence, loyalty, and profound respect for the late King. The ceremony was filled with pride and reflection on His Majesty’s invaluable contributions to education, environmental conservation, and national development.
In addition, a representative father of a student delivered a heartfelt speech, sharing insights into the role of a father—one rooted in unconditional love, responsibility, and care for children—further enriching the meaning of National Father’s Day.
This National Father’s Day activity was not only an occasion to commemorate the boundless benevolence of His Majesty King Rama IX, but also a valuable moment to instill virtues of gratitude, family bonds, and pride in Thai identity among students. These cherished values will continue to be nurtured in the hearts of the younger generation for years to come.
